Fallen Full Codex

Game System: Warhammer 40k

These changes completely rewrite the way the Fallen faction plays, giving their models the connection to the fictional narrative they deserve, and a unique, competitive play-style. This enables collectors to be rewarded for putting the work into a fully converted range. 

All units have the Fallen, Chaos & Imperium keywords. Use the weapon points costs from the Chaos Space Marines codex, unless specified otherwise.

  1. Fallen Champions of the Order (Replaces Fallen from Codex CSM)
    1. Unit description: No mere genetic constructs or infantile super soldiers spoiled on the riches of the Imperium. Each of these is a forgotten hero from a bygone age who has survived thousands of years by his own skill at arms and mental prowess. Even before being elevated they had battles to their names as mortals. Although each is legendary in their own right, they are adored effigies of a glorious mankind no more, they have instead stalked the shadows for untold generations, weaving the ways of the Order or of Chaos where they will. They seek not glory or recognition, nor would they accept it if given. Redemption, forgiveness, fulfillment of ancient oaths? Only they know. But one thing is certain, they hold power to mold whole worlds and star systems to their will.

    8. Weapon Options
      1. Any model may replace their bolt pistol and/or boltgun with any one of the following: plasma pistol, disintegration pistol, storm bolter, combi-plasma, combi-melta, combi-flamer, flamer, plasma gun, disintegration combi-gun
      2. Any model may replace their chainsword with one of the following: plasma pistol, blade of caliban, power sword, disintegration pistol
      3. Note the disintegration combi-gun and pistol profile from Index: Imperium I should be used, except the point cost is 21pts for the combi-gun and 10pts for the pistol.
      4. Any model may take a combat shield
      5. 1 model from each unit may take 1 of the following:
        1. Supercharged Plasma cannon: 
          1. Heavy 2D3, 36in, S8, AP -3, Damage 2. 
          2. 30 points
        2. Nano-virus gun: 
          1. Assault 1, 8in, S3, AP -4, Damage 1.
          2. Any unit that suffers any damage from this weapon immediately suffers a further 2D6 mortal wounds.
          3. 40 points
        3. Monster Slayer Pattern Sword: Melee, S+2, AP-4, Damage D3
          1. Re-roll any failed wounds for attacks that target a model with the vehicle or monster keywords
          2. 15 points
  2. Knights of Caliban
    1. Description: Robed knights riding atop the last gigantic steeds of a destroyed world. Even in power armor, they bear their masters swiftly. Some say it is the work of chaos in their veins, others a blessing of the watchers. Members of the First Legion who roamed abroad under orders from Luther maintain and breed these treasured beasts through the ages.

      1. Any model may replace their boltgun with a plasma gun
      2. Any model may replace their chainsword with a power sword, power lance or power maul
      3. Any model may replace their bolt pistol with a plasma pistol
      4. Any model may take a storm shield or combat shield
    9. Special Rules
      1. Steeds of Caliban: Warped creatures of both nobility and wrath, tamed to the will of their masters. Subtract 1 from the leadership of any enemy unit within 6in of any Fallen Knights of Caliban model. In addition, if this unit completes a successful charge of 3 or more inches, the enemy unit being charged immediately suffers D3 mortal wounds.
  3. Fallen Cataphractii Terminators
    1. Use the unit entry for Cataphractii Terminators from the Spacemarines codex, with the following additions:
    2. Add Supercharged Plasma cannon to the list of heavy weapons available to this unit(see above)
  4. Fallen Rhino
    1. Use the Rhino unit entry from the Chaos Space Marine Codex, but replace the Heretic Astartes keyword with the Fallen keyword
  5. Fallen Land Raider
    1. Use the Land Raider unit entry from the Chaos Space Marine Codex, but replace the Heretic Astartes keyword with the Fallen keyword
  6. Cypher
    1. Use the unit entry from the Chaos Space Marine Codex, but add the following special rules:
    2. Special Rule: Can enter any transport with the imperium or chaos faction
